    Terms of Service

    Last updated: August 30, 2026

    1. Acceptance of These Terms

By using the website of Trouble Free Heating, Cooling and Plumbing Inc. ("Trouble Free," "we," "our," or "us"), submitting a form, or requesting service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or request service. You must be at least 18 years old and the homeowner or an authorized decision maker for the property.

If we give you a written estimate, invoice, service agreement, or maintenance plan, that document controls for that specific job where it conflicts with these terms.

    2. Who We Serve

We provide heating, cooling, plumbing, and water treatment services to residential homeowners in central Illinois. Availability depends on location, technician schedule, and parts. We do not take commercial or industrial work.

    3. Appointments and Access

When you schedule an appointment you agree to give accurate contact information and an honest description of the problem. Arrival windows are estimates, not guarantees, because emergency calls and job conditions change the schedule. Our phone line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and calls are dispatched based on urgency and technician availability.

You agree to provide safe, clear access to the equipment, to secure pets, and to have an adult present when required. If our technician cannot safely access the work area, or if conditions at the property are unsafe, we may reschedule or stop work.

    4. Estimates, Pricing, and Payment

Free estimates apply to new equipment installations. Diagnostic and repair visits may carry a service charge, which is disclosed before we come out. We give upfront pricing before work begins whenever the scope is known. If we uncover hidden conditions once work starts, we will stop and get your approval before adding cost.

Payment is due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing. We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash. Prices in website content, offers, or printed material may change and are not an offer to contract until confirmed in writing for your job. Promotional offers cannot be combined unless the offer says so, and each offer has its own stated conditions and end date.

    5. Cancellation and Your Right to Cancel

Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. For contracts signed at your home, Illinois and federal law give you the right to cancel certain in home sales within three business days. Any cancellation rights that apply to your job are stated on the paperwork you sign, and those rights control.

    6. Workmanship, Warranties, and Disclaimers

We stand behind our work. Warranty terms depend on the service performed and are stated on your invoice or agreement. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment come from the manufacturer, not from us, and are subject to that manufacturer's registration and maintenance requirements. Our satisfaction guarantee means we will return and address workmanship issues covered by your warranty.

Except for warranties written into your invoice or agreement, and to the fullest extent Illinois law allows, our services and this website are provided without other warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act or other law that cannot be waived.

Website content, including troubleshooting articles, rebate summaries, cost ranges, and equipment guidance, is general information for homeowners. It is not a diagnosis, a quote, tax advice, or legal advice. Rebate and tax credit programs change, and eligibility is decided by the program administrator, not by us.

    7. Permits, Codes, and Existing Conditions

We pull permits and follow applicable codes when the work requires it. We are not responsible for pre existing conditions we did not create, including undisclosed prior work, code issues in other systems, concealed piping or wiring, mold, asbestos, or structural problems. If we find a hazardous material, we will stop and tell you before continuing.

    8. Website Use

    You agree not to:

    • Use the website for any unlawful purpose
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or our systems
    • Interfere with or disrupt the website, forms, or security features
    • Submit false, abusive, or automated form entries
    • Copy, modify, or distribute website content without written permission
    • Scrape or harvest data from the website

We may block access or remove content that violates these terms.

    9. Communications Consent

By giving us your phone number, you agree that we may call and text you about your request and your service. Message and data rates may apply, message frequency varies, and you can reply STOP to opt out of texts. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

    10. Reviews and Photos

Reviews and testimonials on this site come from real customers and describe their own experience. Results vary by home and equipment. Our technicians may photograph completed work for records and quality control. We will not publish photos that identify your home or address without your permission.

    11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and code, belongs to Trouble Free Heating, Cooling and Plumbing Inc. or its suppliers and is protected by United States copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

    12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trouble Free is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the website or our services, including lost income or property damage caused by equipment failure we did not cause. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Illinois law.

    13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trouble Free, its owners, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, or expenses that arise from your violation of these terms, your misuse of the website, or inaccurate information you gave us about the property.

    14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, utility outages, supplier or manufacturer delays, labor shortages, and government action.

    15. Resolving Disputes

If something goes wrong, call the office first. Most issues are solved with a phone call and a return visit. If we cannot resolve it, you agree to give us written notice of the dispute and 30 days to fix it before starting a legal action. This does not stop you from filing a complaint with a government agency or from using small claims court.

    16. Governing Law and Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute that reaches court will be brought in the state courts located in Tazewell County, Illinois, and both sides consent to that venue.

    17. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with your written estimate, invoice, or service agreement and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the website and our services.

    18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and the revision date at the top shows the last update. Work already scheduled is governed by the terms in place when you approved it.
