A Local Partnership Built for Veterans
A new partnership between the Tazewell County Veterans Assistance Commission (TCVAC) and Pekin-based Trouble Free Heating, Cooling and Plumbing helps connect local veterans with education, skilled-trades training and employment opportunities in Central Illinois.
The partnership combines TCVAC's work helping veterans and their families access benefits, education and employment resources with a direct connection to a local skilled-trades employer. Together, the organizations aim to make it easier for veterans to identify resources, explore training and education options, and connect with career opportunities in HVAC, plumbing and related skilled trades.
This initiative is intended for veterans at different stages of civilian life, including those transitioning from military service, considering a career change, developing new skills, or looking for meaningful employment close to home. It builds an ongoing connection between veterans, available resources and local career opportunities, rather than a one-time hiring campaign.
